Premier Urban Planning and Conceptual Design

Best Industries wanted to redevelop a city block in Alexandria, VA.  Their vision was to create a premier develop consisting of forty high-end single family townhouses that would blend with the continuing master plan of the City and meet with City’s approval.  Obsidian’s Charles Field turned that vision into something tangible.  The result was the schematic plan shown to the right.  Working with numerous zoning constraints, Mr. Field was able to blend the developer’s need for density with an urban, park-like setting within the stringent zoning requirements.

This type of success again demonstrates our creativity and our ability to create a tangible plan from our client’s vision.
